Melangkap Homestay is also located at low’s Gully outlet which is known as the hidden paradise for the visitor and hidden treasure to the local due to it’s unique beauty and rich in nature. The gully covered by evergreen forest and home to thousand of living species like vegetation, flower and animals that are yet to be explore. Out of the mountain rocks, from various source, a cool crystal clear water forming the Panataran River flow down the valley and at the door step of Malangkap Homestay
Malangkap was known internationality in 1994 when mews of five British soldier who ventured and lost their way in the Low’s Gully were highlighted and published. The five soldier eventually made their way to this village and were received with warm welcome in the simple and genuine Dusun hospitality. They were nursed until fit return to their base in the stste capital of Kota Kinabalu and later to their home country.
